LCD is, and will continue to be, free to use.

Anyone is welcome to visit our open sessions, participate in the community, share knowledge, and build projects without paying a membership fee.

However, maintaining and improving a makerspace comes with ongoing costs. If LCD has helped you, inspired you, or if you simply believe spaces like this should exist, you can help us grow by becoming a monthly supporter.

Where your support goes

Every euro is invested back into improving the space and the experience for everyone.

Some of our current priorities include:

❄️ More climate control

• Additional air conditioning units to make the space comfortable throughout the year.

🌬️ Workshop dust extraction

• Better extraction systems for woodworking and other dusty activities, creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

📦 Storage and organisation

• More cabinets, bins, parts organisers and shelving to keep tools and materials accessible and organised.

🖼️ Improving the space

• Create dedicated areas to showcase projects built by our community, making LCD more inspiring for visitors and giving members’ work the visibility it deserves. Also this will help to reduce the echo in the workshop room creating a more comfortable environment for longer workshops, talks and collaborative sessions
